When can I register my child for a ski/snowboard course?

How long should you take a ski course?

We recommend at least 3 days and the more days the better, of course!

My children and the children of another family would like to be in a group together. What do we need to do?

It is sufficient if you inform the responsible ski instructor when you are assigned on site, and we will take this into account.

How are the groups divided?

All course participants who can already drive a plow (children and adults) drive once before the course begins and are then assigned to groups according to ability and age.

I would like to take another course with a specific ski instructor. What can I do?

You can send us your request by email or call us, and we'll note it in your private course. We always try to accommodate all requests, but due to scheduling constraints, we can't guarantee it.

When do I need to be there before the course?

These times apply to the first day of the course; for the subsequent days, you will receive the meeting point and time on site.

If you rent the equipment from us: 9.00 a.m. (8.30 a.m. weekends and holidays) in the ski center just to the right of the ski school registration

If you have your own equipment and have only booked ski lessons:
9.30 am in the ski center (9.00 am weekends and holidays) in the ski center just to the right of the ski school registration

For private course bookings:
At least 60 minutes before the start of the course

I've only booked a one-day group course because I or my child would like to try it out first. Is there a risk that there won't be any spots left?

No, there is no danger, extending a group course is always possible with us.

I would like to book a 4-day group course and take a 1-day break. Is that possible?

In this case, you would need to book two 2-day group courses. Our group course bookings are always for consecutive days.

Alternatively, you can book 5 days and skip one of them.

There is an exception on January 1st – we do not offer ski courses on this day and the day is automatically added to the end.

Can I still book courses spontaneously?

We recommend booking group courses at least one week in advance, and private courses at least one month in advance (especially in the morning). We cannot guarantee availability on-site or on the day itself.

Can I also book lunchtime care on-site?

Depending on availability, yes. In rare cases, our lunchtime care program may be closed during the carnival holidays.

What if my child gets sick before the ski course?

You can cancel group courses free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the course, and private courses up to 7 days before the start of the course. After that, you will need a medical certificate to receive a refund. Details of our cancellation policy can be found here: Cancellation Policy

What if the course cannot take place due to weather conditions?

We generally assume that the course will take place (even in the event of rain). Should the course not take place for other reasons (e.g. cable cars closed due to wind, force majeure), we as the ski school will cancel the course and you will receive a refund of your costs accordingly.

What if my child doesn't like the course and we have to cancel?

For children aged 3-4, we always recommend booking a trial course first. (€40 for a half-day, and you can extend at regular rates – see trial course .)

For regular group courses, course fees can only be refunded in the event of injury or illness, with a medical certificate. If you are unsure whether your child wants to participate for multiple days, it is better to book just one day initially and then extend it on-site.

Questions about rental

Can I reserve the equipment in advance?

Reserving equipment is only possible online in conjunction with a ski course. However, a reservation is not necessary; we have enough equipment on site.

NOTE: Especially on weekends and during holidays, we recommend arriving at our rental office by 8:30 a.m. at the latest to avoid long waiting times.

Can I pick up my equipment the day before?

You can pick up the equipment the day before starting at 3:00 PM. An additional day will be charged for any pickup before that.

Did you provide false information to the rental company?

No problem, we can easily change it for you on site!

Did you book one rental set too many or too few when making your reservation?

In this case, you do not need to do anything; the difference will be automatically deducted at check-out and paid out via debit card or cash.

Would you like to cancel your entire booking (rental only or rental and ski lessons)?

Please reply to your booking confirmation and we can cancel the booking for you – provided the cancellation conditions are observed ( Cancellation Conditions ).

Questions about depots

Ski depots: Can we store our equipment overnight?

You can rent a 2- or 4-seater depot at our ski center (costs: €6 or €12 per night, respectively). The depots are located in the neighboring Meckatzer Sportalp.

Can I reserve a ski depot?

Reservations for ski depots are not possible. We have sufficient depots available.
